Leon Garland is a very famous Chicago artist and part of the Chicago Society of Artists. He worked in the textile industry and immigrated here from Russia. He was also good friends with Morris Topchevsky and became involved with Hull House. He also was well traveled and studied at the Andre L’hote School in France. Size of the work is 6X8.5 inches. With the mat it is 13.5X16 inches. signed lower right\\.
