Karl Mattern well listed Iowa artist what we believe is a town on strike. Made during the WPA/ depression period. Men are watching a factory from a hill. It is either they are on strike or looking at a building on fire. Social Realism. Size of the work is 21X15.5 inches. Has one very minor tear in margin. Overall appears to be in excellent condition.
