Non-objective watercolor by Karl Gasslander. Titled, “Design for Printed Silk.” Old tag is on the back. Covered by the original mat, which has yellowed over time. Overall in nice shape for its age. Upon appearance, some of the tape has come undone on the mat to expose area where the tape pulled off some of the paper from the work. Meaning the tape the artist attached the mat to the work with has caused minor damage. Size of the work is 13.25X16 inches. With mat 14X16.75 inches. Probbly 1920s-1930s. Would look spectacular in a frame.
