Irving Lehman was a New York Jewish modernist, abstract expressionist artist who worked as a designer, printmaker, sculptor, and painter. He was born in Kiev and studied at the National Academy of Fine Art and Cooper Union. He lived in New York City. His paintings have been displayed in Israel, Japan, France, and England. Here is an electrifying and beautiful example of his work. It is a gouache on paper. Size is 12X9 inches. Two sided watercolor. One side is people in Central Park, New York. The other side is an abstract modern Kandinsky like piece.
