Frederick Victor Poole Chicago artist art deco beautiful nude woman fantasy watercolor 1920s. Depicts two nude women dancing in front of a castle.

Frederick Victor Poole was born in England and studied art at the Academie Julian in Paris. In the 1920s, he moved to Chicago and taught art at the Art Institute of Chicago. He was a member of the Chicago Gallery Artists, the Chicago Society of Artists, and the Chicago Printmakers Society. Some notable exhibitions include A century of Progress in 1933, the Art Institute of Chicago in 1928, and the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts in 1922.
