Frederick Remahl Chicago artist WPA surrealist landscape with lone poplar tree. Beautiful, crisp colors. Size is: 9.5X15.5 inches. Has some conditions issues around edges. But overall image appears to be in great condition.

Frederick Remahl was a member of the Chicago society of Artists and worked for the WPA (Works Progress Administration). He was born in Sweden. Remahl and his wife owned a frame shop called, ““Remahl’s Little Gallery and Frame Shop.”
