Cityscape

A cityscape art piece is an artistic depiction of an urban setting. Some of the most popular cities represented in art are Chicago and New York City.

It is fairly common for cityscapes to be more architectural in nature. The rendition usually includes buildings, skyscrapers, cars, lights, etc.

The cityscape art became very popular in the 18th century in many regions of  Europe, especially in the city of Venice.  In the end of the 19th century, the Impressionists movement artist began using new techniques to represent views of the cityscapes.

Some incredible painters like Edward Hopper incorporated cityscape elements into his works.

In addition,  the artist Stephen Wiltshire frequently paint panoramic city views. The artist Yvonne Jacquette is celebrated for her aerial cityscapes.

The cityscape is a matter of art today and tend to just be more popular.
